St. Helena UPU Picture Post Cards - here A.L. Innes PPCs

Beginning with 1900 the first picture postcards were issued on St. Helena. The first PPCs were published by A.L. Innes (PPC1-13) and  T. Jackson. Other PPCs with imprinted "St. Helena" were published by M.A. Frank/Rotterdam, PPC's by an  unknown publisher and by W.A. Thorpe

You can recognize UPU PPCs with the imprinted heading "UNION POSTALE UNIVERSELLE / ST. HELENA / POST CARD / THE ADDRESS ONLY ...." Later issued PPCs are headed with only "POST CARD".

My project/intension is to list the known UPU PPCs and to show the examples of the front and the picture side. Please be patient - that work isn't done in a month or even in a year.

If you can help with additional PPCs, titles or/and scans, I would be very grateful if you contact me or send me scans with at least 150 dpi - thanks!

For the numbering I use the original numerical order preceded by Robert Richardson (WASC), which is identical with Skavaril/Lampart (SHATPS) up to PPC1-13. The numbering of S/L is noted behind the R.R. number.

All PPCs shown with kind permission of the owners.

If you are a member of one of my societies, I'm able to translate German written postcards - please ask for!

See the Jackson PPCs and others on my site UPU PPCs Jackson
